This is an exciting opportunity to join a new outdoor party team at The Vench in Lockleaze.

Role Description:

Groundwork South is committed to transforming people’s lives and places through social, economic and environmental action. In terms of development and delivery of these projects we work across three business themes, Parks & Open Spaces, Youth & Employment and Greener Living & Working.

We offer ‘nature themed’ and ‘play themed’ weekend, evening and holiday birthday parties to primary aged children (4-11 years) aimed at reconnecting them with the great outdoors. Our parties will include many fun and engaging activities such as treasure hunts, den building and nature crafts. The Vench is located on the doorstep of Stoke Park, which comprises of 270 acres of grassland, woodland and glades. Its adventure playground and youth centre aim to provide a safe and nurturing environment for local children and young people. 

We are looking for people who are enthusiastic about the countryside and keen to pass this enthusiasm on to the party goers. You should be a good communicator and understand the importance of ensuring both the children and their parents enjoy the party activities safely.

This is a zero hour role and you would be part of our team covering the parties at The Vench working with a party leader.

You must be able to work at weekends and be prepared to work outdoors and get muddy.
