Hackney Foodbank kept the doors open and the food and support flowing throughout the pandemic responding as best we could to a huge uplift in demand for our services. We predict that in the current climate the number of local people needing support will to continue to rise and we are seeking a Head of People and Training to manage all elements of our growing charity’s human resources function. To help meet the requirements of our local community and continue supporting those in crisis or trapped in poverty we hope to be recruiting up to five new positions in the coming year to further strengthen our incredible staff team (of ten full time equivalents) and over 70 amazing volunteers.
If you have significant experience in HR, volunteer management and delivering training and can be responsible for recruitment, communication and the ongoing development of staff, volunteers, apprentices, interns and work placements, then this would be the ideal role for you!
