The Project Officer (Delivery) will be responsible for supporting the Head of Delivery and Digital Lead in delivering major projects ongoing within HACT as well as successful delivery of the Digital plan. We are looking for someone with project experience who has an interest in data, the importance of data and digital as an enabler for organisations.

Project Officer (Social Impact)
Length of contract: Permanent
Salary: £22,000 - £32,000 (depending on experience)
plus contributory pension 4% - 5%
Responsible to: Head of Social Value
Responsible for: No staff
Working with: All members of staff, partners, consultants, clients and suppliers
HACT has a reputation in the social housing sector as an ideas factory, capable of delivering positive change through a range of tools, products, and services. The Projects Officer will be a key member of the team at HACT, with responsibility for supporting the delivery and ongoing development of major projects across the business, particularly HACT's social impact measurement services and Social Value roadmap to maintain its position at the forefront of social impact thinking and to provide quality consultancy and training for housing providers to meet all their social impact measurement needs.
Working to maintain HACT’s reputation for cutting edge ideas and the provision of robust, quality tools and resources, the role blends project design, delivery, and customer relationship management. There are three main components to this role.
Firstly, working with the HACT team to develop new business. The post holder will drive forward ideas for projects, products and services, and with the Head of Social Impact, identify new opportunities for HACT. The Projects Officer will work both independently and with the broader staff team to develop ideas and to ensure projects contribute to the overall success of the business.
Secondly, the Projects Officer will be responsible for the direct delivery of projects, products and services. This will include running events, undertaking research, co-ordinating project activity and working groups, facilitating networks, providing expert advice, communications and providing administration. This will be done within agreed budgets and timescales. The Officer will also support the Head of Social Value in the planning of work.
Thirdly, the Projects Officer will be the key point of contact with clients and partners throughout the delivery process. The post holder will provide regular updates on progress, organise and facilitate client meetings, and respond and answer social value queries.
The successful candidate will be able to evidence skills in these areas and will possess strong interpersonal skills. This post will suit a candidate who is motivated, curious and driven, with the capacity to work independently to ensure project aims and objectives are achieved.
