The Mental Health Adviser will be a part of our Youth Services team and will work to deliver a range of mental health services for young people and the adults who support them.  This will involve delivery of resilience programmes, 1:1 support, co-produced peer support activities and youth ambassador initiatives for students (mainly aged 10 – 18 but sometimes up to 25), as well as awareness-raising and training services for parents and the school workforce.  These services will primarily be delivered in schools and colleges but may also extend to other youth settings.

The aim of the service is to deliver services that meet identified needs and gaps within schools and to promote a culture that is supportive of mental health and wellbeing for all school stakeholders, within the model of a whole school approach.
