Job description

Hampton Trust is a leading domestic abuse charity with a focus on tackling the root cause of domestic abuse and criminal behaviour.  We pride ourselves on being innovators in our field, highlighting gaps in service and testing new approaches.

In recent years we have expanded our reach from being a locally based Hampshire charity to now delivering across nine UK police forces. Earlier this year, our work featured in a BBC documentary called Home Truths, exploring Ian Wright’s experience of domestic abuse as child.

This is an exciting time for the organisation with potential to expand our interventions in other areas of the country.

 

Position:                           Domestic Abuse Programmes Manager

Responsible to:               Deputy Chief Executive

Hours:                              37.5 hours a week

Location:                         Ashurst, Southampton

Salary:                             30,000 – 32,000 pa (dependent on experience)

Contract:                         Permanent

As the Domestic Abuse Manager, you will lead a team delivering a range of innovative front-line interventions to domestic abuse perpetrators both in and outside of the criminal justice system. Alongside this we deliver support services for victims and survivors.  This role requires an ability to lead a team of practitioners and administrative staff, and to engage in a range of partnership and multi-agency meetings.   We are seeking an inspiring leader who can also contribute to further developments within the service.
