Job description

Hampton Trust is a leading domestic abuse charity with a focus on tackling the root cause of domestic abuse and criminal behaviour.  We pride ourselves on being innovators in our field, highlighting gaps in service and testing new approaches.

In recent years we have expanded our reach from being a locally based Hampshire charity to now delivering across nine UK police forces. Earlier this year, our work featured in a BBC documentary called Home Truths, exploring Ian Wright’s experience of domestic abuse as child.

This is an exciting time for the organisation with potential to expand our interventions in other areas of the country.  As the Finance Manager you will lead on strategic and operational financial management of the charity.  A qualified accountant (or part-qualified with substantial, relevant experience) and inspiring leader, you will also contribute to the overall direction, planning and leadership of Hampton Trust.

Working hours:                14 – 22.5 hours flexible on role requirements

Salary:                               £35-£40K pro-rata

Job Purpose:  The purpose of this role is to lead on operational financial management of Hampton Trust.   This includes financial analysis, preparing budgets/forecasts and compiling financial reports. You will provide support to the Chief Executive and Trustee board, enabling them to make informed financial decisions.  A member of the Senior Leadership Team, reporting to the Chief Executive the post holder shares responsibility for the Hampton Trust’s strategic development, financial and resource planning.
