Job description
I am excited to be working with an amazing children's charity in search of a Consumer PR & Talent Manager. The ideal candidate will be brave, ambitious, trusted and supportive, to generate earned media coverage to raise brand profile and build audience understanding and engagement, helping to shape societal attitudes, grow action, income and impact, in pursuit of the charity's 2030 goal to improve youth well-being.

Main duties:
Contribute to a rapid response, news-desking & ideas culture, to unlock opportunities. Work collaboratively, prioritising shared goals and consistency across PESO to deliver maximum output & impact
Explore and pitch features & creative PR ideas, working with PR agencies to deliver bold communication campaigns that capture public imagination and grow support for the organisation
Develop & deliver PR approaches, tactics & activity that reaches and engages key audiences to meet campaign objectives and, key 'moments', growing Share of Voice and support for the charity
Identify, recruit & support celebrities, influencers, & high profile individuals, utilising their popularity to engage audiences in a range of awareness raising activities to secure additional promotional opportunities & coverage
Applying our brand and storytelling approaches to PR & talent campaigns, helping to elevate youth voice, to deliver cut-through & raise brand profile with key audiences

Essential Requirements:
Knowledge of Consumer PR & UK media market | PR campaign planning & project management | Experience working with celebrity talent | Knowledge of creator & influencer ecosystems | Stakeholder management & relationship building | Editorial judgement | Writing compelling & persuasive content to journalistic standard | People skills | Critical thinking & evaluating performance | Knowledge of media regulation | Knowledge of diversity & inclusion
