Job Description

Harris Hill are working with a mental health charity to find an Events Fundraising Manager on a 15-month maternity cover contract.

Key responsibilities:

-Planning, implementation and management of the Events Fundraising strategy with a focus on income generation and supporter experience
-Managing delivery of the events fundraising portfolio, monitoring objectives and reviewing when necessary
-Develop and review the stewardship program for fundraising supporters
-Managing the team, supporting them along with supervision and appraisals.
-Evaluating the Events Fundraising portfolio via analysis, insight, market research and feedback

Skills and experience needed:

-Line management experience in fundraising in voluntary and/or commercial sectors.
-Experience of project management including planning, implementing, monitoring, evaluating and reporting on performance involving multiple stakeholders and financial (income generating) and non-financial objectives.
-Experience of financial and budget management including planning, forecasting, monitoring, reviewing and reporting on budgets.
-Experience of providing excellent supporter stewardship programmes
-Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
