The Finance Business Partner will ideally be a Qualified Accountant or near to completion with strong Management Accounting skills.
The charity has won a number of grants recently, so greater requirement for reporting to funders is required. There is also a greater emphasis on how these funds are applied to improve the performance in the Regional Centres as well as working with Operations and Network Teams to identify the most efficient methods of working.
You will work with the Fundraising Team as they continue to bid successfully for new funds and require financial information to support their bids as well as provide their reports on the outputs of these funds.
The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritise workload, producing reports for a variety of different audiences. This role goes beyond a high level of financial ability and experience and to make a real success of the role the right candidate will demonstrate excellent communications and relationship management skills.
The key focus of the role is to establish robust systems, interpretation and analysis of performance data from the regional centres.
You will work on a variety of projects, providing financial information and associated reports including forecasts to a range of users; planning and implementing the move to a new accounting system; designing and making improvements to systems and processes.
The position will undertake annual budget setting processes rolling out 3-year forecasts, designing, analysing and revising processes to deliver services in the most efficient way to meet changing requirements, balancing the needs of individual areas within the charity and efficiency benefits of aggregation and standardisation
