A great opportunity has arisen for a Fundraising and Events Coordinator for a children related charity in order to work closely with the Fundraising Director to support the team in the delivery of the charity fundraising, events and communications.
This will be a temporary contract for 6 months.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Meticulous record keeping within CRM database.
Act as first point of contact for fundraising enquiries.
Generate relevant thank you letters and receipts.
To be fully confident with the database and able to generate reports and data to support the Fundraising Director.
To be responsible for the collation and distribution of bulk postal and email distribution using MailChimp
To arrange and co-ordinate fundraising meetings to include refreshments and catering.
Provide monthly reports to the Fundraising Director on income received from events, corporate and individual fundraising.
Coordinate the London Marathon and other challenge events for the charity.
Promote challenge events to recruit participants using social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn etc).
Support event participants in their activities to achieve their fundraising targets.
Research additional potential fundraising events for our portfolio.
Record promotional activity and its effectiveness in recruiting event participants.
Maintain relationships with our community supporters.
Support the Development Board administratively in the delivery of fundraising and networking events.
Support the Fundraising Director with major donor fundraising and capital appeals.
Undertake regular communications with fundraising participants to include newsletters, fundraising materials and updates.
Deliver regular communications with our community supporters, including newsletters and updates to be shared with their networks.

Experience of using and maintaining CRM.
Flexible, energetic and adaptable approach.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage and prioritise workload.
Ability to build strong internal and external working relationships.
An effective communicator and a good telephone manner.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
