The Big House works with care leavers who are at a high risk of social exclusion by providing a platform for them to participate in the making of theatre.
The primary function of the Fundraising and Development Manager is to support the development and implementation of a sustainable fundraising strategy for growth. They will work closely alongside the Finance and Operations Director, CEO and Board of Trustees to ensure that fundraising activity is in-line with the overall strategic plan for The Big House.
This position will play a vital role in continuing The Big House's strong track record of securing funds from Trusts and Foundations and Individual Giving, as well as leading on the growth and future development of new income streams from Corporate Partnerships and Corporate Trusts and Foundations.
The new Fundraising and Development Manager will have an exciting opportunity to join the charity at this pivotal moment and help the organisation to the next stage in its development.
To be considered for this amazing opportunity you must have a detailed knowledge of trust and foundations, experience of achieving set income targets in a fundraising role and a strong track record of cultivating relationships with trustees/trust representatives, and securing major multi-year 5 and 6-figure grants. In addition, you will have experience of developing a major gifts fundraising strategy.
This position is full time/permanent, and you will be based at their North London HQ.
