Job description

Haven House Children's Hospice is seeking a new and talented Senior Individual Giving Manager to lead the development and growth of the individual giving function. The successful candidate will be responsible for raising vital unrestricted funds from individuals; delivering our current supporter recruitment programme line; managing a Supporter Services Administrator and providing high quality donor care and stewardship.

The successful candidate will need to have experience of managing successful direct marketing campaigns, strong project management and database management skills, and have excellent written communication, alongside a creative flair for donor engagement. The post holder will work closely with our Senior Marketing Manager, the wider Fundraising team and will report directly to the Director of Income, Generation and Marketing. 

This is an exciting role that would suit an Individual Giving Manager looking for the next step or wanting to develop experience managing all aspects of an Individual Giving Programme, including legacies and lottery giving.

You will have demonstrable experience in managing a supporter database and maximising Gift Aid income whilst ensuring all supporters are receiving excellent supporter care. You will have the ability to lead on creating meaningful relationships and have the commitment and understanding of the key principles of the charity. An attention to detail is vital in order to maintain an efficient system for income processing. You will have the ability to be able to segment data in line with the marketing and individual giving strategies. You will be proactive and enthusiastic in your approach with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
