Your new role
„ Report to the CEO and liaise with organisation Board of Trustees to deliver the highest possible standard of financial management and planning.
„ Take responsibility for overseeing the organisation's financial systems, legal services and procurement.
„ Play a key role on the SMT, contributing to its strategic leadership and ensuring the effective daily management of the organisation.
„ Develop management reporting and analysis to support effective decision-making at a senior level.
„ You will work closely with the Business Development team on bids for Local authority contracts to deliver services.
What you'll need to succeed:
A qualified accountant and member of one of the recognised accounting bodies in the UK (ICAEW, CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA). A minimum of 5 years' experience of management within a Finance Department, demonstrating a proven track record of hands on financial and management accounting skills. Experience of managing strategic financial plans, budgets, financial reporting, procurement and fixed assets in a complex/dispersed organisation. Experience of charity finance statutory reporting and the charity Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP).
