Your new company
Is a not for profit organisation that brings together research and innovation with the entertainment industry. The organisations purpose is to shape people perceptions, ideas, skills and knowledge to how the world actually is and not how people think it is. This organisation is about a year old and are under an umbrella organisation, in September it will launch as it's own new entity.

Your new role
As (Digital) Communications Manager to will be responsible for the delivery of their communications plan through a number of different channels, but predominately social media, website content and email. This is B2B communications and you will be promoting the work of business' within the network, sharing best practices, events and research findings. Your big focus is to create political neutral content that is engaging for both majorities and minorities. The organisation is diverse and neutral, they acknowledge that this is the way business need to work to succeed and so wish to continue to do so.

What you'll need to succeed
You must have a strong understanding and track record of what good social media management and content looks like and able to demonstrate how to grow networks, communities and followings online, through persistent social media touch points. You will also have a good understanding of Content Management Systems, ideally WordPress. This is a delivery role and not strategic. With this in mind to be successful you must be a fantastic copywriter, with strong written and verbal communications skills, who is able to understand the nuances of the English language that include and is engaging for people within the BAME community.
