A nationwide charity are looking for an Accounts Payable Team Leader based in their head office in Central London, reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager.
Your new role
You will be reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager in an Accounts Payable Team Leader role, responsible for the administration of the AP process. You will ensure the accurate validation of invoices before they are matched to a PO. You will also ensure all supplier invoice payments are processed in an accurate and timely manner. You will manage relevant outgoing cash processes which will include vendor payment runs, quicker payments and monitoring of direct debits. You will be responsible for managing your direct reports (between 5 to 9 AP Assistants) which will include setting objectives that align with the finance processing team goals.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need:
- Experience of managing an Accounts Payable team
- Experience working in a large organisation in an AP role
- Experience of managing a high-volume processing department to meet objectives.
- Excellent Excel skills are essential
- A high level of written and verbal communication skills.
