Job Description

Your new company
Non-profit training board are seeking an Corporate Governance Officer for an interim position in Central London for a minimum of 3months to support in the delivery of effective governance across the organisation.

Your new role
In this role you will ensure compliance with the agreed governance cycle of all committee, council and board meetings. This will include the preparation of draft agendas for discussion and approval by the relevant chair; compiling meeting summaries for discussions; writing minutes from meetings; coordinating and monitoring follow-up actions arising from meetings; drafting amendments for committee and councils terms of reference; provide support in the recruitment of committee and council members; and other related administration and reporting tasks. This role may also include deputising for the Assistant Board Secretary as necessary.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this interim posts you will have demonstrable experience in a similar role. You will have proven organisation skills and an ability to anticipate support required. You will have highly-developed written and spoken communications skills. You should have experience of working autonomously and confidently without supervision, managing timelines and planning activity to effectively deal with conflicting priorities. You should be able to instil confidence to work with and protect highly confidential material and communicate with tact and discretion.

What you'll get in return
This is an interim position for a minimum of three months, working in Central London. The rate is £17.00ph + holiday pay PAYE or £21 umbrella. Due to meeting commitments in March, this role is looking for a quick start following successful interview.
