Working with a charity who focus on delivering community, health and well-being services - they have work specifically with young people and run community events across London. The organisation has recently merged and opened a state of the art new building to provide services to the homeless.
* develop financial strategies, plans, policies and procedures in conjunction with the Director of Corporate Services that support the delivery of overall organisational strategy and business plans.
* develop and manage the provision of a range of financial professional services, including budgetary management, financial forecasting, management accounting, financial reporting.
* lead and manage the Finance team and ensure a culture of high-quality and business focussed service provision.
* act as Company Secretary, ensuring compliance with the statutory and regulatory requirements and providing guidance and support to Audit Committee and the Board.
You will be a qualified accountant and have first class financial control experience. You will ideally have charity experience, but this is not essential. You must be able to demonstrate strong management experience - able to set clear objectives and plans to make sure that deadlines are met.
