Your new role
As Senior HR Adviser you will work within the HR Operations team. You will be required to provide high quality advice, support and administration to managers and staff in designated areas of the University on a wide range of issues spanning the employee life cycle, including (for example) resource planning, recruitment and selection, induction, performance management, promotion and salary review, employee relations issues, structural change and organisational development/training interventions. This is a FTC for a period of 9 months paying £38,000-£44,000 per annum.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous generalist experience is required for this role. You will demonstrate strong employment legislation experience which will allow you to advice accurately on a range of issues. Previous experience working within Higher Education is highly desirable but not essential so still apply if you have relevant HR experience. You will be required to start week commencing 21st October, so you must be immediately available or on a one week notice period.
