Head of IT, Housing Association

Your new role

You will be responsible for both infrastructure and application support and you will need to work across the Association as part of the Operational Management Team. The role requires you to be. Acting as a credible lead business partner for IT spend, service management and digital business ennoblement. Managing the IT team, its resources and suppliers to ensure Value for Money and exceptional customer experience. Accountable for IT Service delivery and Operational agreements with internal and external customers. Innovating processes, procedures and engagement to improve service. Budget management comprehension, including supplier and contract negotiation. Technical thought leadership and escalation point for resolution management, taking well-considered risk. Varied and diverse business applications experience and technical IT operational knowledge, with involvement in a Housing Association background would be beneficial. Prepared to challenge the business leads to determine what is acceptable and appropriate, using knowledge, people skills and persuasion


What you'll need to succeed

You will be self-motivated, interested in the latest developments and committed to delivering a high-quality IT service. An experienced IT professional, ideally with a range of experience in service management, motivating staff, delivering innovation, ensuring robust infrastructure, managing Service Level Agreements and risk, monitoring KPIs and supporting staff in delivering a premium service. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate an understanding and commitment to the inclusive housing mission. You will be flexible and agile in your approach, being able to adapt to different circumstances and travel to different locations.
