Management Accountant required to join the busy team at a not for profit org reporting to the Head of Finance.
£10m income charity based close to Kings Cross station. The organisation serves and is partly run by young people.
Purpose of the job
The Management Accountant will play an integral role in providing a modern and accessible finance service, whilst leading on the organisation's financial management and performance. The Management Accountant also plays a vital role in building excellent working relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders. You will be responsible for system improvements and have the skill and attitude to impact on business improvements. You will also work closely with the Financial Accountant to deliver operational elements of the role. The Management Accountant will deputise for the Head of Finance in supporting the Senior Management, Leadership and Board of Trustees teams. Responsibility will include management of two Finance Assistants including development and coaching.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant and be an experienced management accountant with experience of working in a charity finance function at both operational and strategic level. You will ensure that the organisation receives a first-class, customer focused services which enhance the organisation's ability to support and deliver consistent financial performance and planning, and ultimately a great experience to its members.
