Your new company
National health charity are seeking a Research Data Analyst to join their London office on a temporary basis for 3months initially. The role of the Research Data Analyst supports the analytical part of several transformational projects.
Your new role
As Research Data Analyst you will provide analytical and technical support for predominantly three key projects: data analysis for research KPI metrics; understanding current research investment relevant to the charities focus; and research data classification. In addition, you will provide some input to emerging requirements as part of the team's day to day evaluation service. Reporting into and working closely with the Research Evaluation Manager, you will also need to build effective relationships across the organisation.
Key duties will include delivering a quarterly report covering the organisations research activities based on KPI metrics; perform analysis and data collection for projects; deliver analytical results within with specified timescales; and support on delivering analytical support to evaluation requests.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have prior experience in data extraction and analysis using standard statistics packages including Excel. You will a demonstrable ability to interpret, present and communicate complex data in accessible and tailored way, including producing data-rich reports for a range of technical and generalist audiences.
You will be well organised, able to manage multiple tasks and meet demanding deadlines whilst having meticulous attention to details. You will also have effective communication and well developed networking skills with the ability to work in partnership with people at all levels. A background in medical or biological research is desirable but not essential.

The is a temporary position for 3months initially in central London paying circa 16.85ph+ holiday pay PAYE or 20.77per hour umbrella.
