Your new role
You will be supporting the policy and advocacy team on designing and editing a number of engagement products that they use as part of their strategy. As a team they have a little skill shortage, most of the policy team don't have the adobe skills or editing skills to make the products engaging and visually exciting to the reader. You will mainly be supporting in the creation of reports, info-graphics and social media content for the team, following brand guidelines and briefs to help with completion. The team have a number of templates to help with the report building, but you will also have input on the improvement of said templates. The above is the day to day function of the position but the line manager will also be asking for your input into how to resolve the skills gap on the longer term. E.G. do they need a permanent member of staff, do they need to train and up-skill the team or do they need to outsource the need to a separate team.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a bright, creative and driven brand professional that has potentially recently graduated but has some experience freelancing or as part of their degree secured a work-placement as part of a sandwich course. A degree however is not necessary, we are also interested in candidates that have the equivalent worked experience.You will have a good understanding of the full Adobe Suite and ideally have a good understanding of Google Slides. To be successful in this role you will have previous experience working to a brief and using brand guidelines to complete work. We are looking for a candidate that is confident enough in their skills and understanding for branding, that if there is a product that won't gain the relevant engagement, you will advise on how to better the product moving forward.
