Your new role
As the Public Affairs manager you will support the overall stakeholder engagement strategy and lead on all contact with stakeholders both internally and externally. You will be responsible for administering all public affairs engagements and events to ensure messages are being communicated clearly to key audiences.
It is important you have a political and parliamentary understanding, as you will take the proactive analysis and dissemination of information from parliament and advise on potential response. You will represent the organisation at key events, as well as make sure developing innovative ways to engage with our members.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a strong track record of working in campaigning or a public affairs environment and an excellent understanding of UK Parliamentary processes. You will have the ability to build relationships and interpret a variety of audiences as well as good exposure to who public sector organisations operate.
