A brain injury can affect anyone at any time. When it does, Headway is here to help.

Each year, around 350,000 people are admitted to hospital in the UK with an acquired brain injury. Most of these people will need help and support in rebuilding their lives.

That’s where we come in. At Headway, our role is to provide information and support to people affected by brain injury while campaigning to reduce the number of people sustaining such injuries and calling for better support for those that do.

To do this, we need your help!

You’ll be joining a small but effective communications team that is already making a difference. You’ll have the chance to drive our campaigns, generate strong UK-wide coverage, and directly improve life after brain injury by making more people aware of the support available from Headway.

This is a great chance to use your communication skills to make a real difference to the lives of people affected by brain injury. So…what are you waiting for?

Location: The post will be based in Nottingham, with hybrid working considered

During the pandemic our staff have been working from home with excellent results. However, we recognise the value of working collaboratively in teams to promote creativity and achieve our objectives. As a consequence we will adopt a pragmatic and flexible approach and we are prepared to discuss hybrid working arrangements.
