Abortion Support Network is a largely volunteer-run charity that helps people living in European countries with bad abortion laws and provision access safe abortions in clinics abroad. ASN provides practical information, support, funding, travel and accommodation.
We are looking for a candidate to cover our Fundraising and Communications Manager’s maternity leave from the end of June 2024 until the end of March 2025. Your role will be to implement ASN’s fundraising strategy, working with volunteers and a small staff team to diversify and increase the charity’s income. You will focus on fundraising from trusts and foundations and major donors, as well as managing individual campaigns and overseeing ASN’s external communications.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and a team player, who can hit the ground running as part of a dynamic and growing organisation.

Joining part of our senior leadership team as an interim Operations Director in London for a minimum fixed period of 12 months, with a possible extension to cover a period of leave.
While this role is fixed term, Dimensions are a large and growing organisation in this sector and further opportunities may become available for a successful candidate.
A secondment opportunity can only be arranged with the consent of the employee and their line manager. Employees must obtain the agreement of their substantive line manager before applying for a secondment post.

You will take on direct line management responsibilities for our London Locality managers, who are registered with CQC.
Whilst the position is home based, there is an expectation that the Operations Director will regularly visit the homes and be there for their teams as and when required, with a keen focus on the development of quality and practice through great leadership. (Key areas of travel in London will be North West, North and North East London).
As Dimensions is part of a National Organisation, there will be a requirement for the post holder to attend occasional meetings outside of the region, but these will be limited to supporting personal and professional development and to connectivity with peers and access to a wider support network.

Your main duties will include:
- Understanding the needs and outcomes of the people living in the London area, along with the standards expected for the delivery of care by CQC.
- Leading a group of Locality Managers who report directly to you, ensuring that they manage and lead their teams in an effective way in line with Dimensions values.
- Leading managers, teams and stakeholders to work collaboratively, making a positive difference for the people we support.
- Ensuring minimum standards are understood and adhered to, while striving for excellence in line with people’s personal choices and person centred outcomes.
- Working in partnership with the regional leadership team to deliver on regional goals and initiatives.
About you
The successful applicant will have:
- A great knowledge and understanding of supported living and registered care support for people with a learning disability.
- Have a demonstrable understanding of the requirements of the CQC and of working in health and social care.
- Be results focused; the ability to work proactively, plan, organise, optimise resources and complete targets within agreed timescales.
- Experienced in leading and delivering projects
- Have good networking, influencing and negotiation skills

You will have:

· Demonstrable experience of working in a fundraising and development role with a focus on income generation and fundraising strategy development.

You will support the delivery of a new discoverability, engagement and growth strategy for the website and digital audience channels. You will cover the management, optimisation and advise on website design, content and marketing tactics with a particular focus on the completion of some timely workstreams around user experience and accessibility. You will work across the whole charity to support and advise colleagues on their scheduled website requirements and developments. You will also work closely with the Digital Systems team and web development agencies on the upgrade and maintenance of the website, prioritising tasks and monitoring activity. You will be instrumental in supporting an increase in engagement against strategic communications objectives across multiple channels with a clear focus on improving user experiences and ensuring the delivery of the right message to the right audience. You will also manage the team, including setting the workload and schedules, and liaise with the Digital Communications Officer, the Website Editor, and the Communications Analyst. You will also attend regular meetings with the Strategic Communications team, website development and search optimisation agency. You will manage the Umbraco CMS system, support the user experience study, and build recommendations.
This role requires extensive website and digital marketing experience, across a range of disciplines, including paid social media, search marketing (SEO/SEM), Search engine optimisation, Paid Search (including Ad Grant, pay per click and display) social media campaign analysis, email segmentation, web friendly and organic content management. The successful candidate will have knowledge of Content Management Systems (i.e., Umbraco) and Google Analytics 4, Google Ad Words/ Ad Grants, Google Tag Manager. They will also have experience of working on multiple and complex multi-channel digital marketing projects at once.

A prestigious Not for Profit organisation is recruiting a Financial Controller on an interim basis to take on a key leadership role. As the interim Financial Controller you will be accountable for the following:
- The production of the audited statutory financial statements and the completion of the external audit, to the specified timetable, you will need to lean upon your project management skills to pull this together
- Provide advice on best practice in external financial reporting
- You will be responsible for the production and improvement of the organisation’s management accounts pack, working with relevant stakeholders to achieve this
- Take overall responsibility for the monthly rolling cash flow forecast, balance sheet and ensuring reconciliations are performed
- Work with board level stakeholders to work through a transformation plan and this will include Finance and the Shared Service (AR,AP, Payroll)
- Work alongside the Shared Services Director to identify and quantify risks in the AR and AP functions, and identify and implement process improvements to mitigate the risk
