We are currently recruiting a Reception Manager to join our Office Services Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the Reception Team provide and maintain a high quality, secure, professional customer service experience and front-of-house function.
You will need to deliver the high standards across the diverse and varied portfolio of the departments work activities, undertaking and managing agreed tasks in key areas involving health and safety, procurement and security.
Introduction to the Department
The Reception Team is led by the Reception Manager and operates within the Office Services Department. The Reception Manager position will be managing a team of three Reception members across two sites (both located in Kennington)
The Facilities team also operates within the Office Services Department with which the Reception team work closely.
Purpose and Main Duties
Lead, manage and coach the Reception Team within the Office Services Department ensuring a smooth-running function to the required standards
Responsible for ensuring the Reception Team provides and maintains a high quality, secure, professional customer service experience and Front of House function.
Responsible for providing service and guidance for visitors, guests, and employees of the HCPC and other building tenant users
Design implement and monitor processes, procedures and standards for activities which support and enhance the operation of the Reception Team and working with the Facilities Team to develop and promoting activities that improve the overall Office Services Department operations.
A high level of written and oral communication skills, including a proven ability to communicate professionally with employees, suppliers, including members of the public and senior management.
The successful candidate will have significant knowledge, understanding and experience managing a Reception and/or Front of House operation service team, for a similar sized organisation.
The Reception Manager will need to be educated to a degree level or hold equivalent knowledge and proven ability to manage, lead, support, coach and inspire a team. Working effectively within the wider department providing a high level of service and quality work to the organisation.
