We are seeking a Head of Brand and Marketing to join our Engagement Team at the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association. This role is pivotal in building the Association's brand and developing a marketing strategy that amplifies our impact for those living with and affected by MND.

You will be responsible for the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns that maximise the Association's ability to raise income, provide services and win support for campaigns to make life better for people living with and affected by MND. Collaboration is key - you'll work closely with internal stakeholders, including our Head of Communications, to enhance our visibility through targeted campaigns and public awareness-raising activities. Your responsibilities will include developing annual marketing and content plans, overseeing the development and delivery of multi-platform content. You will lead integrated marketing campaigns and an audience-first approach to enable insight-driven marketing activities to evidence our impact, ROI, and drive engagement.

Building relationships is at the core of this role. You'll engage with senior stakeholders to promote the importance of brand strategy in achieving our organisational objectives. The Role:

Hospice UK has an exciting new fundraising strategy with a focus on digital fundraising and supporter journeys. We are looking to significantly increase our engagement with new and existing supporters across all areas of fundraising. The Digital Fundraising and Engagement Executive will be responsible for maximising income, supporter recruitment and retention through digital channels, for both individual giving and events.

Reporting into the Head of Events & Supporter Engagement and working very closely with the External Affairs team you will deliver a cohesive and impactful approach to digital fundraising and supporter journeys. The Digital Fundraising and Engagement Executive will lead on recruitment and stewardship for a number of third-party challenge events as well as supporting on the optimisation of integrated digital campaigns and donor journeys.

To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate a background in digital fundraising (1-2 years’ experience) and an understanding of supporter journeys and social media advertising. Some understanding of SEO would be desirable but you would not need to be an expert in this area.

The Team:

The Events and Supporter Engagement team forms part of the wider Income Generation and Grants Directorate. The team’s focus is on raising funds from individuals through challenge and special events, digital fundraising, giving in memory, legacy giving, regular and payroll giving and one off donations.

The team is made up of 5 people (including this role), who work closely together to help achieve our goals. The wider Income Generation and Grants team consists of 20 people in total. We meet regularly through team meetings and coming together in the office on a Tuesday, which helps to create a supportive working environment.

Spinal Injuries Association (SIA) are currently recruiting for a spinal cord injury specialist nurse to join our growing team of healthcare professionals. The specialist nurse will cover the South-west region – providing support and advice to people with spinal cord injury, their families and healthcare professionals.

Spinal Cord Injury Specialist Nurse
Location: Covering the South-West region – We offer remote working
Salary: £46,591 per annum

About the role

Working as part of the Health & Care Quality team and within a designated geographical region, the SCI nurse specialist will support those with newly acquired spinal cord injuries who are not admitted to specialist services, or those with established spinal cord injuries who are being re-admitted to hospital for treatment unrelated to their impairment. Through telephone, email or face-to-face visits the SCI nurse specialist will offer guidance and advice to these individuals and/or their family members, addressing issues of concern associated with treatment and care and liaising on their behalf with healthcare professionals in the treating hospitals to ensure these are dealt with in line with best practice standards.

The SCI nurse specialist will also act as an educator for healthcare professionals involved in the treatment and care of spinal cord injured people and working in non-specialist settings and will contribute to the development and delivery of educational offerings available via the SIA Academy. When required, the SCI nurse specialist will support individuals through elements of the NHS Continuing Health Care assessment process, attending review or appeal hearings in their capacity as clinical specialist in SCI care. They will also contribute to the monitoring, evaluation and development of the SCI nurse specialist service via mechanisms put in place for that purpose.

Reporting to the Director of Engagement, the Media Officer is a key member of the organisation’s Engagement department (comprising the Marketing team and Publishing team). You’ll have experience of working in end-of-life care within an acute or palliative care setting. We will also consider newly qualified nurses who want to develop a career in palliative care. The successful candidates will be keen team players with good interpersonal and communication skills who enjoy working in a challenging environment whilst displaying a caring attitude at all times.

We have a very exciting opportunity for anyone who enjoys working on the front-line of patient support in the Wirral and Liverpool area. 

This role will deliver Kidney Care UK’s Patient Support and Advocacy service in Liverpool and the Wirral region. This varied role deals with every aspect of a patient’s life that supports better outcomes: welfare benefits, practical, emotional and social support. As well as directly supporting patients, you will raise awareness of the wide range of local and national resources available to kidney patients, and build strong relationships with kidney patients, professionals, and other stakeholder groups in the region. 

Based at home (laptop and mobile phone provided), you will be expected to travel independently across Liverpool and the Wirral area and manage your own caseload with the support of your line manager and other members of our national friendly, committed team.

We’ll provide the training, you’ll bring enthusiasm and your experience of working with chronically ill patients in a social, care or health role.
