Job description

We are looking for a new Deputy CEO to deliver the defined board strategy and continue the expansion of fundraising, engagement and delivery of our services to healthcare workers.

The role will suit a skilled and experienced operator, who will work on a probationary period as deputy CEO. On successful completion of probation (3 months), there is the potential for the candidate to take over the day-to-day functions as the HWF’s CEO from the interim Executive Chair on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will work closely with the Chair and the Board, foster and grow the team, and continue the development of HWF into a large, long-term sustainable organisation with an established national presence.  The postholder will be supported by, and will work closely with, the Executive Assistant, to ensure the smooth-running of HWF.

HWF aims to expand over the next five years, with the longer-term vision of becoming the organisation to which all healthcare workers are affiliated, and which supplies support, services and assistance to all levels of the healthcare sector. HWF now seeks an ambitious and energetic individual to lead the organisation through the next exciting stages of development.
