Healthwatch Richmond is the consumer champion for health and social care in Richmond upon Thames. It gives the community a strong voice to influence and challenge how local care services are designed and run and the power to hold providers of local health and social care to account.
Through planning and delivering a programme of outreach and engagement activities and communications you'll gather the views and experiences of people who use NHS and social care to identify trends. With support from our Chief Officer and volunteers you'll undertake targeted projects and service reviews to develop an evidence based to inform the development of, or improve NHS and social care for our community.
You’ll produce Healthwatch Richmond’s communications, writing articles about the work you’re involved in and collating news stories for publication in media, newsletters, bulletins and online. Through this work you'll help to raise awareness of Healthwatch and help people to get the support that they need.
As part of a small organisation you will be involved in many aspects of our challenging and constantly evolving, but ultimately very rewarding work. The ability to pick-up new skills and approaches, adapt and find pragmatic solutions is essential to the role.
