Healthy Hamlets
Happy - Healthy - Community

Volunteer with Healthy Hamlets and Make A Difference you will not believe!!!

Healthy Hamlets is a brand-new small grassroots community-based project promoting healthy living and lifestyles to those who live, work or study in Tower Hamlets and the surrounding areas. We are a group of volunteers aiming to help the community to live more active and healthier lives through providing information and guidance, health and wellbeing activity sessions and so much more, giving people the skills, tools and confidence to improve their health and their lives. We are small and we are a community project in the heart of the community.

We are looking for a super doper super-organised, ‘Make it Happen’ person who can come and join Team Healthy Hamlets as our Volunteer Coordinator, where you will lead Healthy Hamlets Volunteering Programme, from recruiting and training volunteers to keeping volunteers engaged, motivated and apart of the team, ensuring we are a fantastic community healthy living project in Tower Hamlets that everybody loves.

The role only requires approx. 6 hours per week and offers great flexibility (including evenings and weekends) to fit around your home/work life, so if you’re a people person, with a good knowledge of volunteer management, coordinating volunteers and able to motivate, engage and keep volunteers interested then we sure would love to hear back from you and have a chat about the role.

Applying is simple, all you have to do is email us for a short Application Form. If we love it, we will call you up for a short telephone interview and then go from there. It’s so simple, so what are you waiting for? Come join a small team of committed volunteers trying to make positive change in Tower Hamlets.
