We have a great opportunity for a senior management role of Talking Therapies Lead.

Responsible to: Head of Training, Therapy and Young People
No. of Hours: 20 hours  
Base: Flexible (Herts)

Purpose of the Post 
The key purpose of this post is to generate new business, be responsible for the operational management of current services, developing the therapies on offer alongside the management and support of volunteers. Taking a person-centred approach; the therapies lead will assess all new counselling referrals into the organisation and assign them to an appropriate volunteer counsellor. The Lead will be expected to work with a wide range of agencies to attract new counselling referrals into the organisation.  You will work with the SDM counselling lead to attract new volunteers into the service by building strong networks with colleges and universities. You will work to ensure quality assurance standards are met and funding agreements are adhered to. You will be required to adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
