You will need to be a proactive innovator who can spot opportunities for The Health Tree Foundation to benefit the people in our community. You will need to be a strong voice within the Trust, yet be compassionate and approachable to people from all walks of life.
You will be a motivator for donors, health professionals and the public in good and difficult times. You will engage, influence and have the ability to see the big picture, whilst simultaneously getting stuck in at grass roots level.
You will report to the Head of Smile Health and will be expected to drive forward the charity’s success, encapsulated in its ethos. Hospitals are challenging places in which to be employed and this environment must be one in which you feel comfortable working.
You will need to work closely with senior management across the Trust to enable effective communication internally and externally and provide sound financial understanding at all times.
You will also be expected to build positive and effective relationships with the Trustees, Trust governing board and any other key fundraising and senior volunteer committees. The post holder will also be an important ambassador for the HTF and will lead and nurture this role with all staff and volunteers.
The post holder has management responsibility for all areas of income generation, fundraising, marketing, communications and grant making for the charity. You will be supported by likeminded individuals who represent the Trust.
