Temporary Head of Services
For Immediate Start
Full time: £35,000
Reports to: CEO
Hours: 36 hours per week including some weekends, evenings and public holidays.
This is a new role and provides an opportunity to shape delivery of specialist services at a vital local charity, and to develop current services to benefit individual’s that have learning disabilities in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.
This role includes responsibility for leadership of the HF Mencap’s independent support and short break service as well as it’s commissioned projects, currently including adult social inclusion and children’s weekend and holiday play service.
You will be charged with overseeing quality management of the services and supervising a medium sized staff team, this will entail ensuring training of support staff is up to date and appropriate as well as supporting the centre manager with creating an up to date rota.
Part of the role will be managing relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and partners. You will also oversee promotion of services, and data management and analysis to ensure quality and compliance and insight that supports future development and demonstration of impact.
You will need to be confident working at a strategic and operational level, supporting the CEO and Business development executive to manage and maintain relationships with commissioners; ensure all service delivery requirements are met, and contribute to development and growth of current and new services.
