Employability Coach

Position: Employability Coach 
Location: Pinderfields Hospital, Wakefield 
Job type: Part Time, 12 Months Fixed Term Contract possibility to extend with funding 
Hours: 18.5 hours per week 
Salary: £21,136 pro rata

About the role: 

Hft Bradford are looking to appoint two Employability Job Coaches within their occupation & employment provision for adults with a learning disability. 

The Employability Job Coach role is central to the delivery of high quality services and promoting Hft's reputation. The job requires an individual with drive, enthusiasm and commitment. Someone with a 'Can Do' attitude who has the ability to look for creative solutions to meet people's support needs in a way that respects their individuality and works with the Operations Manager. 

About you: 

The Project SEARCH Employability Job Coach role is to support young people with Learning Disabilities over a period of one academic year. The goal is to provide three on-site work placements to enable the young people to gain the skills necessary for open paid employment and further support the same group to access long term employment. 

As an Employability Job Coach on Project SEARCH, you will need to be open to flexible working which may involve some occasional evening and weekend work.
