We are looking for Volunteer Manager to join our team here at Hft for a 6 month fixed term contract. This is your chance to make a real difference to people's lives.

Salary: £28,571 per annum
Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
Location: Remote

What will you be doing?

Reporting to the Head of Recruitment and Resourcing, you will play a key role in developing our volunteering strategy and policy, working with key stakeholders to improve volunteer engagement and identify appropriate volunteering opportunities across the organisation.

You will be responsible for designing and executing a formal Hft Volunteering programme, leveraging existing corporate partnerships and establishing new links with other organisations.

You will be responsible for establishing consistency in processes and recording of information, ensuring all checks and documentation are compliant with CQC regulations with relevant onboarding and training.

About you

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working with volunteers and coordinating volunteering activity as well as initiating and managing volunteer projects. You will need significant experience of key stakeholder management, in particular influencing managers in volunteering.

You will have the ability to establish best practice processes, ensuring that the volunteer journey and lifecycle is engaging and fulfilling,

You will have knowledge of the legal and policy issues relating to volunteering and a solid understanding of current trends, resources and information relating to volunteer management.
