Job description

To work closely with multi-agencies including the police, voluntary Community Sector service providers and other statutory partners to divert low-risk women from the formal criminal justice process, motivating them to engage in positive community activity to allow them to lead safer, crime free lives. To work collaboratively and flexibly with project partners to achieve best outcomes for client groups.

To work holistically with the women providing language support and information to enable them to understand their current immigration status and how to comply with out of court disposal.

Hibiscus’ diversion project worker will work directly with Foreign national women and will assist partner organisations and the police to ensure Foreign national women can have equal access to diversion options.

We encourage applications from all backgrounds and communities to bring diverse skills, experiences abilities and to better represent the people we support. We strongly encourage women with additional languages to apply.

We provide frequent training and development opportunities to all our staff and support all staff by offering regular well-being classes, clinical supervision, and external well-being activities
