Buyer / Space Planner (Charity Retail)
Our client has a network of 56 retail shops including 2 Superstores, 8 home stores and the remainder all individual boutique stores with individual locations and demographics. Alongside their donated stock they also have the opportunity to offer customers a range of new goods to purchase. This is where the New Goods Manager role becomes a critical position in the Retail and Trading team.
Buyer / Space Planner Responsibilities:
Your role will be the strategic lead a small team in researching new product lines for stores, negotiating with suppliers and taking the time to build relationships and truly understand our client's retail network.
Another key element of the role will be leading the distribution of products and also looking at the stock management, space management and pace is key so managing the logistics of this operations is key to its success.

Buyer / Space Planner Requirements:
You will be operating a strategic level so previous experience of managing an operation within buying is critical for the role or being a Senior Buyer within a larger organisation and wanting to utilise this experience to take the next step in your career. You will have fantastic negotiation and communication skills to build relationships with external suppliers and internal stakeholders. Logistics of the operation which has a lot of moving parts is a key aspect of this role so you will also be comfortable managing this side of the operation.
The role holder will be based at Daventry with travel to other regions.

Their objective is to save lives, utilising specialist pilots, doctors, and paramedics and with our work centred on saving lives, improving clinical outcomes and being able to react quickly and efficiently to emergencies.
Job type: Full Time, Permanent, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum
