Children’s Nurse Requirements:

The children and young people they care for have very complex health needs, which will enable you to develop your clinical skills – including for example long-term ventilation. As well as providing hands on clinical care there is also time for having fun creating memories and laughter. This may be surrounded by balls in the soft play, splashing in our hydrotherapy pool, being creative in messy, going on outings, and facilitating the children to experience the wonders of the sensory room.

Due to the complex needs of the children , you will need be experienced in caring for children with life-limiting conditions, complex needs or chronic illnesses.

Hours are worked on rotating shifts (up to 12.5 hours) including nights, weekends and bank holidays, with enhancements for night, weekend and bank holiday working. Although we are unable to provide fixed shifts, they aim to be as flexible as possible in shift patterns to enable staff to have a good work/life balance.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 25 - 40 hours per week, worked on rotating shifts including nights,weekends and bank holidays. 12.5 hour shift pattern available.

Salary: £26,141 - £33,124 per annum, pro-rata - plus enhancements for night, weekend and bank holiday working
