Deputy Store Manager

They are not like any other charity. All the stock in their stores is new, donated by retailers, allowing them to create a heaven for bargain hunters and savvy fashionista shoppers who want high street products at discount prices.

The Deputy Store Manager works in support of the store manager, providing the opportunity for the successful applicant to manage the store in the manager’s absence and therefore, develop within the organisation. The role is unique and also provides support to the sales team whilst coaching them to develop.
You will maximise retail sales and profit through the effective day to day management of a sales team that will be made up of both paid employees and volunteers. You will also live and breathe KPI’s, using your creative skills and imagination to merchandise the product to a high standard, driving the delivery of excellent customer service.
No two days are the same in our fast paced environment.
What they are looking for:
You will have previous retail management/supervisory experience and be able to work alongside and operate effectively with the store manager and wider team.
You will have the commercial acumen to drive sales and will be motivated by results and continuous improvement, with great attention to detail and the ability to analyse data to maximise those sales
You will need to be flexible in your approach to meet the requirements of the management rota and to cover additional hours where required, be willing to cover at other stores on occasion to meet the needs of the business.
You will be able to demonstrate resilience, integrity and enthusiasm, as well as your and ability to adapt to change.
Having merchandising experience and a good knowledge of fashion would be an advantage.

Salary: Circa £21k. Dependent upon experience and qualifications
