Director of Education and Inclusion
In the Learning and Inclusion department of our client they aim to make sure that every child in Leicester has access to the education they need. That’s why our client's work reaches a long way beyond supporting schools. Working closely with their colleagues in Social Care, they also have a major responsibility to remove any barriers to education for looked-after children, vulnerable children and those with disabilities.

You will help them to improve performance in all schools across the city, or to support children with special needs and disabilities, those being educated at home and those excluded from education. Overall, you’ll help them to ensure children in Leicester get the best educational start in life.

Director of Education and Inclusion Requirements:
You will provide vision, leadership and direction to deliver aspirational outcomes for the City of Leicester. You will be responsible for formulating and recommending strategies and plans to the Strategic Executive Board, Cabinet and Council. You will embed and continue to improve transformational change programmes across the organisation and in partnership with schools and other educational settings to ensure success. You will be educated to degree level with relevant professional qualifications. Through senior management experience, you will be able to demonstrate a proven ability to think strategically and find creative solutions through partnership and collaboration which has resulted in achieving educational excellence.

Salary: £98,467 per annum
