Job description
Working within the Development team, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of the events programme. Their busy calendar of events ensures that they connect with members, partners and funders, bringing these supporters closer to their work.

You will also work closely with our corporate partners and sponsors, ensuring a high-quality experience that delivers return on investment. If you’re a creative thinker who would enjoy the challenge of working on a vibrant and varied events programme as well as supporting their work with the business community, you’ll flourish in this role.

As they open their new home in central Leeds, following the £18m Music Works capital redevelopment, you will have the opportunity to play a key part in delivering memorable and high impact events using their own facilities as well as at other venues including when the company is on tour, to underpin successful cultivation and supporter retention. You’ll be joining a team that works collaboratively and strategically but always with a focus on the company’s objectives, as well as playing an important part in driving income to support their work on stage and off.

Events and Corporate Partnerships Coordinator Requirements:

• Have demonstrable experience of working in a fundraising environment or leading on events
• Pride yourself on attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high quality work
• Have excellent communication skills and can write persuasive and compelling copy
• Are a proven multi-tasker with an assertive approach and the ability to prioritise under pressure
• Are driven with a proactive approach to achieving results and can motivate others around you
• Can work independently and use your initiative to make decisions and problem solve
• Have a good understanding of fundraising for the arts
• Have sound interpersonal skills, can be calm under pressure and work effectively with a wide range of people

Salary: £22,500
