Loan Facilitator (PAT Testing)

It is critical to our client's mission that they are able to ensuring the safe and efficient availability of specialist toys and equipment as a vital part of the Play Therapy Pod operations. This position will take key responsibility for their Play Therapy Pods to ensure high quality products are delivered to families through the maintenance of their in-house database, as well as, the cleaning and servicing of toys and equipment including:

- PAT testing
- Providing manufacturer instructions for use
- Package items appropriately to minimise damage during transit.
- Dispose of, and replace, broken toys with appropriate spares or reorder new toys

As such, you should be proficient in managing the risk of provision and ensure that quality assurance practices are adhered to. In addition, you will review new toys being proposed for the pods, and confirm whether they can be cleaned and serviced to a high standard and raise concerns where appropriate regarding the robustness of toys.

The ideal candidate will be able to work well as part of a team to ensure the adequate turnaround and relevance of existing Play Therapy Pods. This would include the development of new pods (based on plans given by the Play Therapy Pod Coordinator) and redevelopment of pods that are returned in poor condition.

Loan Facilitator (PAT Testing) Requirements:

- H&S Qualification, such as IOSH or NEBOSH, or willingness to study.
- PAT Testing, or willingness to study.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a role that is key to product quality assurance.
- Working knowledge of health and safety legislation.
- Adhere to confidentiality principles.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Attention to Detail.
- Highly engaging and capable of developing and maintaining relationships at all levels.
- Capable of working as part of a team or autonomously, with high volumes in a fast paced environment.
- Inquisitive and solutions focused.
- IT skills (e.g. Word, Excel).
