Publications and Content Manager

Our client is looking for a knowledgeable and well-organised individual to join them as Publications and Content Manager.

Publications and Content Manager Responsibilities:

This is a key role in the Communications, Content and Events team, responsible for the production and delivery of our client’s commercial publications and the efficient operation of their digital content repository, TISonline, as well as the production of free-to-air content. Our client is transitioning to a digital-first approach and this role will be central to helping develop their processes and outputs to ensure they support this ambition.

You will lead and manage the content team, managing workflows and ensuring quality standards are met. Working closely with their design team, you will oversee end-to-end production of all published content, ensuring processes are robust and applied consistently.

A strong editor and writer, you will advise the business on written output, formats, content structure and act as one the guardians of their public voice and house style.

With responsibility for the delivery of two subscription-based commercial content suites, you will support in the subscription renewals process, help gather customer feedback, and monitor and analyse sales data to inform marketing strategies and income forecasting. You will have knowledge of publishing rights, particularly in the digital space, and will advise them on content licensing and IP protection matters as required.

Publications and Content Manager Requirements:

The ideal candidate will bring understanding of the ways digital publishing formats are transforming both content production and engagement, and they would expect you to be open to innovations in both process and output, ideally contributing ideas of your own.

You will also be an excellent organiser and communicator, be able to lead and motivate a small team, and you will bring a practical and positive approach to the role.

Salary: £42,000 to £43,000 per annum

Type: Full time, permanent, 36 hours per week
