Social Media Manager

They are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager, with expertise across organic and paid social, to lead their social media for our client. It’s the perfect role if you’re looking to work at a fast-paced national children’s charity and want to deliver innovative campaigns that drive results.

This is an integral role at our client with overarching responsibility for the charity’s organic and paid social media, including creative development, management and measurement. The role is accountable for a consistent brand and tone of voice across social media, maintaining a balance of content and asks, and maintaining and growing their income from social media.

Social Media Manager Responsibilities:

You will have a passion for digital and the part it can play to drive fundraising and brand awareness. You will play an integral part in achieving cross-organisational objectives and will lead their new social media strategy to make their social media more impactful, grow their audience and focus on innovation to drive the charity forward.

You will be a creative, results-driven digital professional, with proven experience in organic and paid social media management. You must be external-looking, with an eye for digital trends and social media innovation, with an appetite to trial new ideas and techniques on their channels. Stakeholder management is a vital element of this role, as you will need to work with internal charity teams to strategically manage content and requests, and external partners and suppliers to bring new ideas and activity to life.

Social Media Manager Requirements:

You’ll be a passionate social media expert with proven experience in managing organic and paid social media to drive commercial results and increase brand awareness.

You’ll also have:

- Solid experience of integrated content development – recognising how social is part of a multichannel user experience.
- A passion for innovation and incorporating into your work.
- Experience in tracking and measuring social media campaigns against KPIs and providing reports.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience managing a range of diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organisation skills, with the ability to manage a busy and varied workload, meet tight deadlines and prioritise effectively.
- Experience of managing sensitive content, including personal stories Have a proven ability to think commercially and drive results.
- Strong training skills, which is key as we roll-out upskilling programmes across the charity.
- Experience working with agencies and third parties.
