Are you hard working, do you enjoy working with people? Our client is looking for enthusiastic Support Workers to help care for their residents and encourage them to develop and learn life skills enabling them to live life to the full.
They require team players with excellent communication skills who want to deliver a high level of care and support, whilst maintaining safety standards at all times in line with company policies. Previous experience of care work desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Support Worker Responsibilities:
- Assisting with personal care where needed
- Assisting with residents’ mobility where needed
- Overseeing and preparing of meals and drinks
- Accompanying residents to daily activities or planned day trips
- Accompanying residents to medical appointments
- Administering and storage of prescribed medication
- To become conversant with and implement policies and procedures
- Updating of care plans and risk assessments on in-house database
- Ensure safeguarding policies adhered to at all times and be aware of steps to take should you need to escalate concerns
Support Worker Requirements:
Previous experience of care work desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
