Support Worker

What you will be doing…

You’ll be working with a warm, friendly team based in head office to provide care in the local area of Chester. Joining our client you will not just be joining a Care Company; it’s a family who supports clients and staff. You will be involved in a variety of care duties involving:

• Personal care supporting clients independently in their own home:
• Monitoring blood sugars, medication management;
• Meal preparations and management of specialist dietary requirements;
• Domestic duties;
• Continence care;
• Dementia care;
• Shopping.

Ideally, you’ll be able to drive and have access to a car. You’ll be committed to providing support across the Chester area, covering Blacon, Lache, Handbridge, City Centre, Vicars Cross, and Ellesmere Port.

Whilst the majority of clients require female Support Workers, which is classed as a genuine occupational requirement under schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010, they do have a number of opportunities for male support workers to come and join the Team.

Previous experience in a care setting is preferable, but not essential as full training is provided throughout your career.

Hours available…

• 7am – 2pm
• 7am – 6:30pm
• 12pm - 11.15pm.
• 3:30pm – 6:30pm
• 3:30pm – 11:15pm
• 6:30pm -11:15pm
