Location: Bedford

Hours: Full-time 37.5hrs, Monday to Friday, Fixed term contract until July 2022 with the possibility of extension

Salary: £24,000.00 per year

Due to the growth in demand for their services, they are seeking to recruit a Training Project Supervisor (ESOL) who will live out their core values in managing and organising their new ESOL programmes. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who shares our organisational values of care and compassion, is confident working with initiative and has strong organisation, prioritisation, and mentoring skills.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage the provision and delivery of ESOL programmes in Bedford
• Work with colleagues at their Academy to streamline the provision of ESOL services, creating an ‘ESOL Pathway’ that serves learner needs
• Meet funders and budget targets
• Manage the day to day running of courses and associated communication, in coordination with the admin team
• Oversee and coordinate external contracted Teachers to plan and deliver programmes in line with OFSTED requirements
• Ensure full compliance with the rules and regulations of funding bodies, ensuring returns are completed to deadline
• Market and promote programmes with stakeholders and partners to meet all target outcomes.
• Communicate the organisational values of care, compassion and Commitment both directly and through behaviour and attitude
Ideal candidates will have experience in project supervision/management, developing training programmes and liaising with awarding bodies as well as understanding of quality assurance standards.

Required Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Delivering projects to standards.
• Project supervision/management
• Working under own initiative and as part of a team to achieve good outcomes for learners.
• Able to monitor and manage targets and outcomes for learners successfully
• Teaching/Training experience

Desirable experience or qualifications:

• Full driving licence and own transport
• Quality Assurance
• Experience of developing and running programmes
• Ability to speak a second language
