The Role
The role of Associate Director will be to support the Director, Global Grants Management to establish and maintain the direction of the grant making policy, training and continuous development of the Officer and Associate pools.
The Associate Director will oversee staff that are responsible for creating and maintaining grantmaking policy, working with IT to support technical training requirements and delivery, enforce global policies and standards, and upskilling and continuous development of the Associate / Officer pools.

The salary range for this role in the U.S. is $102, 500 - $189, 600 (USD). The final offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set and level of experience.

A small but highly specialist professional membership body & not-for-profit is seeking a Finance Officer on a full-time, permanent basis.
The role is paying circa £32,000 per annum and offers hybrid working – this will be a mixture of office-based work in central London and home-working. They also offer a generous pension and other benefits.

In this fundamental role, your main responsibilities will include a variety of organisational, governance and administrative tasks. You will be on hand to respond to queries and arrange necessary inductions and training, ensuring that their policies are maintained and communicated via a variety of mediums such as agendas, balloting and presentations. About the role:

You’ll be part of a team of Funding Officers, led by a Funding Manager, responsible for our grant-making activity in a geographical area. There are eight Funding teams in Scotland each covering a different geographical region with between 4 and 8 Funding Officers in each team.
Funding Officers usually work on grant-making activity within one local authority area and are the main point of contact for all grant-holders and applicants in that area.
Role Responsibilities include:
- You will provide advice to prospective applicants, assess applications and will be in regular contact with grant-holders as they progress with their projects. Your recommendations will guide decisions on awarding grants and how we support grant-holders.
- You will contribute to learning and evaluation of our work, outreach and stakeholder engagement in your area. You will ensure that our funding responds to the local context and our commitment to equity and inclusion. You will be expected to challenge yourself and colleagues to continually improve the way we work.
- You will be responsible for understanding how an organisation’s ideas align with our funding priorities and making good judgements about when to take an application further or when to signpost to alternative opportunities. You will be able to communicate clearly and concisely your recommendations about who and what we fund. Your natural curiosity combined with a genuine interest in people and projects in your area will enable you to try new approaches and develop your understanding of what works.
During your first few weeks with the Fund, in person training will be delivered in Glasgow, you can expect to be office based on most working days. After the initial training period work patterns are more flexible. In a typical week most full-time Funding Officers would be likely to spend one day in our Glasgow office, one or two days out for meetings and project visits in their assigned area, and will work from home on other days.
There can be occasional weekend and evening working, but most of our work takes place on week days in normal working hours.

About the role
As the Executive Assistant and Operations Manager at Tudor Trust you will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and effective management of both administrative and operational functions within the organisation.
With a focus on providing comprehensive support to the Board and CEO, the role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, including executive assistance, operations management, HR administration, and financial support.
Key Responsibilities
Board and CEO Support
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CEO, Chair of the Board and Trustees, including proactively managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling travel arrangements.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Attending meetings for notetaking, to capture actions for next steps.
- Assist in organising events, workshops, and training sessions.
- Coordinate logistics, invitations, and follow-up activities for meetings, and in particular, board and committee meetings.
Operations Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organisation, including facilities management, office supplies procurement, and equipment maintenance.
- Develop and implement efficient processes and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness and streamline workflows.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and service providers to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of any issues.

Financial Administration

- Review all our insurances and support the Head of Resources with the administration of the charity’s bank accounts.
As our organisational change initiatives progress, the EA & Operations Manager role will evolve, facilitated and managed by ongoing reviews conducted in collaboration with the Head of Finance and Resources.
Person Specification
Skills, Experience and Knowledge
- Experience as an Executive Assistant or Administrator.
- Experience in coordinating with suppliers, contractors, and service providers to maintain smooth operations and address any operational issues promptly and effectively.
