About the Roles
We are looking for two new people to join the Media Trust team as Project Coordinators. We have two positions available, one which can be a full-time or a part-time role, and one which is only available part-time.
These positions are exciting opportunities for people who are passionate about social justice and empowering charities to drive social change through their communications and digital campaigns. We are keen to hear from proactive individuals who thrive on having a varied workload, enjoy planning in-person and online events, and take pride in being well-organised and detail-oriented.
The roles will provide support across multiple programmes which offer training and mentoring to bolster the skills and confidence of charities in strategic communications, social media, and media engagement. Your responsibilities will include administration, logistics, and coordination of programme and training activities, such as liaising with charity participants, event planning, training facilitation, financial administration, data management, marketing and content creation, impact evaluation, and reporting.

About the roles:
The role offers flexibility for home and office working with travel to appointments to meet clients when needed in Ealing.
This role is based at Whitecross Studios (Islington); however, we offer hybrid working. There will be occasional working from Perceval House (Ealing) approximately once a month and/or when meeting with clients.

About the role:
This role is based at our Gloucester office and will require regular travel within the Gloucestershire area. Hence, holding a driving licence is essential.
As a caseworker, you will:

Job Title: Hackney Infant Feeding Peer Support Community Lead
Salary: £ 10,400 Actual (£26,000 FTE)

About us at the NCT
A lot of people know NCT for our antenatal classes, and we want to continue to support as many parents and families as we can to access evidence-based information. But we are also much more than this. We are a charity that campaigns on the issues that matter to parents. We run breastfeeding and infant feeding support, provided by specialist counsellors. We run thousands of free community activities and events across the UK, led by our fantastic volunteers and peers. And we support women and families facing specific challenges, such as social isolation, feeding difficulties or poor mental health.
Our Hackney Parent Support project is commissioned by Hackney Council, to offer infant feeding support across the region in both community and hospital settings and parenting courses for families throughout the Hackney region. The support is delivered by staff and volunteer peer supporters.
Peer Support Community Lead to manage, coordinate and support our trained Breastfeeding Peer Supporters at community venues throughout Hackney Borough. This role is home-based but will include travel across the Hackney region (expenses will be reimbursed).
About the Role
You will be responsible for leading the infant feeding support with Hackney in the community, working closely with the Hospital support lead. Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
· Leading on infant feeding peer support in the community across the region.
· Managing the peer support staff and volunteers that work in the community.
· Working with and supporting Peer Supporters to carry out their role.

You must have good communication skills and be able to build relationships and create a rapport with a wide range of people easily. This is a large project and covers multiple locations so you must be able to confidently prioritise your own work, be highly organised and able to work independently.
Being able to make decisions and respond appropriately to our staff, peer supporters and parents and other external stakeholders is essential, alongside good IT skills– including Outlook, Word and Excel – and you must have good attention to detail.
It is essential for this post that you undertake the training to become an NCT Breastfeeding Peer Supporter. This requires breastfeeding experience of at least 3 months. The training can be undertaken within your working hours. There will also be training on the EPEC (Empowering Parents, Empowering Communities course) provided by South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.
The role is 14 hours per week as is a job share, which will be predominantly Monday to Wednesday within the working day, however, will include occasional evening and weekends. This is a home-based role, however travel across Hackney will be required.

The Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre (Rape Crisis South London) is looking for a therapist with experience of working therapeutically with acute high risk presentations to join our Children and Young People’s Counselling Service as a Well-being and Safeguarding Counsellor. Working alongside play therapists, family prevention practitioners and school well-being counsellors, you will provide specialist therapy to girls and young women aged 5+ in hubs across the South London Boroughs. We will provide the successful candidates with:
● Clinical supervision

Background
Along with other dioceses in the Church of England, Diocese of London has committed to become a Net Zero Carbon Diocese by 2030. This followed National Synod’s commitment in Feb 2020 of the same.
To achieve this, the Diocese has now approved a comprehensive Net Zero Carbon (NZC) Action Plan, which follows the Route Map put together by National Church Environment Team.
The Diocese is now building a team to ensure that the Plan is enacted, milestones are reached and that Net Zero Carbon becomes part of the culture adopted by all across all those within the Diocese.
