To ensure effective support and delivery of organisational objectives, theis position plays a critical role in maintaining an efficient month end, ensuring accurate financial data, preparation of financial reports, carrying out the annual/audit process.
* Coordinate with country offices to consolidate financial data and ensure consistency, accuracy and transparency of financial reporting.

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations you will provide operational management of the finance department of the school, ensuring accurate financial reporting, appropriate financial controls are in place, that cash is managed prudently and that the department provides timely and relevant support to the business
Key Responsibilities include:
- Manage the finance team and the day to day running of the Finance Department to support the operation of the Prep and Senior School and subsidiary companies.

The organisation Working with a very well-established charitable foundation, the organisation comprises of three independent schools and two state-funded academies.
They are the holding company which owns the school land and buildings and manages the endowments valued at c.£50m. The Foundation Office delivers a "head office" type finance function for the Group and a range of other services to the schools, including governance and HR.
Your role The Group Finance Manager will work within a small team and an extended team of around 15-20 finance staff in the schools. The post reports to the Group Finance Director and the finance function are assisted by a part-time Finance Officer. The core part of the role is the production of the
annual report. You will also manage the group cash treasury system, managing 20+ bank accounts.
You will manage significant investments and investment property. You will also maintain an accurate cash flow forecast for the group. A medium sized health education charity is seeking a Finance Officer on a full-time, permanent basis.
The organisation is an established charity that provides information and guidance on various aspects of veganism. Services range from general advice on vegan lifestyle – diet, travel, shopping etc, campaigning activities, additional services to charity members, and the certification and labelling of products based on their internationally recognised Vegan Trademark.
The organisation has around 65 staff with a turnover of around £4 million annually. Their central offices are in Birmingham, however this role can be taken on almost exclusively remotely – it is anticipated that there will be approximately 6 journeys per year required either to the Birmingham office or another mutually agreeable location – for staff events and meetings.
The role sits within a small finance team of 3, and will be highly varied covering most aspects of transactional finance. The starting salary is between £29,413 - £31,508, however they have regular salary reviews and growth in the role is possible. They also have an excellent benefits package including a pension scheme, employee assistance programme, 28 days leave + bank holidays, plus additional leave available as part of a sustainable transportation climate perks policy.
The ideal candidate will be AAT part-qualified with experience in a similar Finance Officer level role. Exposure to double-entry bookkeeping and an understanding of charity finance would be an advantage. Experience with Sage accounting is also useful. About the role
As Programme Finance Officer you will provide support to the full life cycle of grants: from donor concept proposals to final reports. Interim Head of Finance | 3 Month + | £300 - £350 per day (outside IR35) | Hybrid | Croydon
For a small but vital refugee charity, we are recruiting an Interim Head of Finance for 3 + months, starting ASAP. Reporting to the CEO, the main accountabilities will focus on providing insightful monthly management accounts and reporting to the Senior Leadership Team and Trustees / Board, and to ensure the correct allocation of expenditure to a high number of grant funds. This role will oversee the Finance Assistant and the day-to-day finance transactions, including expenses, payroll, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Main Duties:
- Produce regular management accounts and financial reporting
- Support the Leadership Team, Finance Committee and Board with long-term financial planning
- Lead and review budgeting, reforecasting and cashflow management
- Review and re-negotiate all contracts, including office premises, IT, grants, and services
- Oversee the Finance Assistants day-to-day work including transactions and payroll processing
- Work with the Head of Fundraising and Senior Leadership to ensure income generation and fundraising strategy is in line with long-term goals
What will you bring to this role?
- Qualified Accountant or QBE with solid experience
- Strong knowledge and experience of Charity SORP, Grant funding and restricted and unrestricted funding
- Strong experience of management accounts and reporting within a small but complex charity organisation including budget preparation and year-end accounting and Audit
- Strong IT skills including Xero and Excel
- Experience of contracts, facilities management, HR processes and IT would be desirable
- Solid experience of managing and motivating staff

This growing, progressive health & social care charity is exclusively partnering with Robertson Bell in their search for a Head of Finance to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Director of Finance and Operations, you will provide leadership to a medium sized team, whilst having full management of all financial processes and standards across the group structure.
The key duties of this Head of Finance role are as follows:
- Full responsibility for the delivery of the annual budget, ensuring all assumptions are challenged around demand to make it as robust as possible.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, offering opportunities for upskilling and driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Have full accountability for ensuring the organisation’s services are running to their budgets, challenging variances and making recommendations to bring them back in line as needed.
- Hold accountability for the day-to-day running of the external audit and production of the statutory accounts.
- Be the go-to financial expert in the organisation for the development of funding bids.
- Have critical oversight of cash management and forecasting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
- Take the lead in the production of the monthly delivery timetable, ensuring that the team are always delivering at 100%.
The organisation has ambitious plans for growth, development and diversification in the future, for which this role will have a key role in. By challenging the status quo and implementing new initiatives to enhance working capabilities and efficiencies, you will enable the finance team and the budget holders to deliver on their targets, in line with strategic growth. The Director of Finance and Operations is looking to invest in someone ambitious, with the view of providing exceptional on-the-job training to enable the post holder to assume additional responsibilities over time, and potentially grow into a more senior role!
The successful candidate will have:
- Achieved their full accountancy qualification.
- A background working in a finance role at a senior level of a medium sized organisation or larger.
- Experience working in an organisation with a similar business model (e.g. health or social care, social housing etc).
- Demonstrable experience of managing and driving performance across a team.
- Strong attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
This role will officially be based in their offices in London, although opportunities to work from home will be on offer for up to three days per week.
